The seventy ink drawings in this volume were inspired by Anne Glynnis Fawkes's experience as an illustrator of the landscape and finds of archaeological digs in Cyprus. Anne Glynnis Fawkes is a painter, illustrator, paper sculptor, and maker of art books. She has worked on archaeological digs in all the countries of the eastern Mediterranean and her paintings have been exhibited in the United States and Cyprus.
